I STILL HAVE TO DO THE WORK!
I shared those words with someone when they congratulated me on my new speaker sizzle reel. By the way, if you have not seen it, it's on the home page of my website.
I responded that way because my friend said, "Your speaking business is about to blow up. You are going to be getting hired left and right!"
Well, that’s the hope, but I still have to do the work. He asked, "What do you mean?"
I replied, Constantly push the video like crazy in my marketing, consistently create content regarding my speaking services, continue building relationships, and give value to show problems I can help solve and establish myself as an authority on the topic I share.
I must keep doing the work in hopes it will draw prospective customers to my speaker reel, motivating them to go through the process of reaching out to me and considering hiring me.
This is the success tip I need you to focus on.
One of the biggest misconceptions about achieving success is that there is a shortcut or a magical formula that can guarantee it. The reality, however, is that no matter how talented or knowledgeable you are, you still have to do the work to achieve your goals.
There is no substitute for hard work, dedication, and perseverance. Even the most successful people in the world had to put in countless hours of effort and sacrifice to get to where they are today. They faced numerous F.A.S.C.O. moments (failures, adversities, setbacks, challenges, obstacles) but never gave up.
With that in mind, I need you to remember, if you want to achieve your goals, you have to put in the time and effort. No matter how great your products or services are or no matter what your previous success has been.
You have to be willing to make sacrifices and face challenges along the way. Success requires consistent, focused effort over a sustained period.
It’s not a destination but a journey. So don’t have that entitlement mentality!
Stay focused on your goals, stay motivated, and never give up.
And never forget, You still have to do the work, but the rewards will be worth it.
